Adults only, in every section
You must be 18 or older to use OmegleHang. Do not invite or encourage minors to enter, and leave if a participant appears underage. Unmonitored is not an exception to this rule. Sexual exploitation, coercion, grooming, threats, and illegal conduct are prohibited.
If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact appropriate local emergency assistance. Do not wait for an online report to be reviewed. Do not copy or circulate illegal material as part of a complaint.
Protect information a stranger does not need
- Keep addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, passwords, and verification codes private.
- Remove identifying documents and private screens from a camera background.
- Do not send money or private images under pressure.
- Avoid suspicious links, downloads, and requests to install a “fix.”
- Remember that someone can record, screenshot, or copy what you share.
No account requirement does not mean complete anonymity. Peer-to-peer connections can expose network address information. Read the privacy policy and camera privacy checklist.
Standard chat and Unmonitored are different
Standard chat may use configured automated text checks and periodic low-resolution video safety frames. Actual availability depends on service configuration. Automated checks can miss problems or make mistakes; they are not a promise that a human is supervising every conversation.
Unmonitored video requires a separate warning agreement: you may encounter sexual encounters, nudity, or other explicit content. It skips routine automated text checks and video safety frames. Reporting can still apply, and the rules against minors, coercion, exploitation, harassment, and illegal content remain in force.
Choose a section deliberately. If you do not want unexpected explicit content, do not enter Unmonitored. Even in standard chat, leave an unwanted encounter rather than assuming a safety system will prevent it.
Use Next, Stop, and reporting
Next ends the current conversation and looks for another person. Stop leaves the session and releases the media tracks used by the page. You may leave at any time without explaining or negotiating with the other participant.
Where enabled, Report ends the match and submits a concern. It may include recent incoming text, a frame of the reported video, and technical session information used by safety systems. Reporting is not an emergency response service and does not guarantee a particular moderation outcome.
For concerns outside an active chat, use Contact. Describe the issue without sending passwords, payment details, or explicit media. The operator can access the private inbox; it is not a live support channel.
Recognize pressure before it escalates
A stranger may try to move you to another site, ask for payment, threaten to publish an image, or claim you must provide a code to keep chatting. Stop rather than complying. Do not give someone more material or money because they threaten you.
Preserve ordinary non-explicit details of threats if it is safe and lawful to do so, and seek appropriate local help when needed. If a conversation becomes hostile, a short exit is better than escalating an argument.

Take a break if repeated encounters feel upsetting. Random chat is not a substitute for trusted personal support, and you can choose a different activity or a more familiar community at any time.
